In the thematically organised Google Classroom, you will find useful resources on IELTS in general, and there are also separate sections focusing on the different specific skills.
From here, you can download the presentations on which the videos are based in pdf format, and you will also find other useful downloadable materials such as the Band Score Calculator or the Progress Tracker for the Listening and Reading sections.
In the videos, you can follow the key aspects of each component with the help of presentations. You'll get lots of tips, advice and guidance on the individual exam sections, sometimes with links, sometimes regarding material uploaded to the Classroom.
You'll always have assignments to complete for the live online sessions so that we can focus on your progress there. You will also find self-study and practice tips for each section.
We save a significant amount of time with these videos since we don't need to arrange sessions where I explain the most important information about the sections; you can watch them whenever and as many times as you wish! Plus, you can download the presentations in pdf format, where the links are clickable, so you don't even have to search!
We'll meet at a previously agreed time on Zoom, which is free to download for participants.
You will always arrive at each 60-minute consultation session with a completed task and we will discuss how you can do even better, you can ask your questions, we'll monitor your progress and do lots of practice; all tailored to your individual needs.
This will actually be your notebook during the preparation. This is where we'll keep track of your progress, where you can take notes from the videos, where you'll write your essays and see my corrections and improvements, and where we'll note down your next homework and what you need to do before the next consultation.
